How to query internal AD from Portable Class Library (PCL)

I need to validate a user alias provided in an Windows Store app against my company's internal AD. The code for this should be defined in a PCL.

In full .Net I'd use System.DirectoryServices.AccountManagement.PrincipalContext to achieve that. Is there a way to achieve the same in a PCL?
