Director of Pricing/Brand Management and Market Research PC Ask Me Westlake Village, CA Full Time, Monday – Friday Weekdays: 8am - 5pm 7+ to 10 Years Bachelor's Degree/MBA
The Director of Pricing/Brand Management and Market Research is responsible for implementing, modifying and enhancing our “Go to Market” strategies based on a process-oriented/results-based analysis of our industry, our market, our customers and brand awareness/identification.
Primary functions:
• Design pricing structures • Maintain comparative & competitive information on account pricing, programming and growth strategies • Manage, develop, plan and facilitate promotion programs & calendars • Identify new and emerging market channels, consumer behavior trends & branding opportunities on an ongoing basis • Perform multi-level industry-specific competitive position analysis on an ongoing basis • Generate method of sale-ROI models, forecasts and in-line assessments on a regular basis • Coordinate, initiate and assess strategic market-based segment promotions on an on-going basis • Assess our customer base acquisition and retention strategies and develop actionable insights that expand & enhance both on a measurable basis • Consistently identify system-wide and process-based improvements that will advance our marketing programs • Direct research programs in support of pricing, branding, marketing, affiliations, collaboration and trade alliances • Analyze, modify, research and design targeting/cross-target market products, concept tests, life cycles and pilot product extensions • Ad hoc project management
• Possess strong quantitative & qualitative analytical skills • Significant experience with website metrics/ survey and data compilation • Be a highly motivated self-starter, comfortable working independently and able to achieve results with minimal guidance • Be tech-savvy! • Have leadership skills • Possess outstanding business acumen & branding insight • Demonstrated experience with brand identification and market-share expansion • Extensive experience with performance/marketing analysis reports and ROI/financial returns • Have a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with moving deadlines in a competitive market • Possess proven ability to work with cross-functional teams composed of senior executives and staff members, alike • Consulting experience a plus • Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing, and/or Sociology/Anthropology with an MBA, preferred • 7-10 years of combined experience in branding, pricing and marketing
