Global Communications and Foreign Affairs Manager
: PC Ask Me
Westlake Village, CA
Full Time, Monday – Friday
Weekdays: 8am - 5pm
5 to 7 Years
Bachelor's Degree/MBA
The Global Communications and Foreign Affairs Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing industry communication and gaining access to broader global audience and markets, managing media exposure and presenting to external audiences/clients/investors, as required.
Primary functions:
• Represent PC Ask Me as a company spokesperson and front-line point of communication in our industry, with trade
associations/markets and major media
• Expand media and networking relationships with agents and global markets
• Function and cross-coordinate in a seamless alliance with all in-house marketing programs/initiatives and managers
• Design, implement and roll-out innovative communications strategies for our diverse marketing programs & global Markets
• Manage communications surrounding marketing cycles, campaigns and expansion
• Drive and define new business opportunities & markets
• Routinely prepare written materials, including press country & market specific press releases, Q&A Forums, executive
presentations/speeches, regulatory/policy communications and similar communiqués
• Increase and monitor brand identification/awareness in our industry, across markets and routinely align/re-align brand identification with our multiple and diverse global markets
• Have extensive e-commerce, marketing and global marketing experience
• Be proactive and committed to efficient and timely resolution of business issues and growth-oriented
• Possess proven ability to work with cross-functional teams composed of senior executives and staff members, alike
• Have excellent leadership skills
• Have a demonstrated ability to gain the attention of industry and trade media representatives
• A track record of professional public experience, brand or image representation, and/or a public role
in corporate communications
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with legal, finance and business development
• Extensive experience with external clients and gaining market access
• Have experience with, and be adept at, working diplomatically in stressful and rapidly changing environments
• Be fluent, and/or able to read and write at an advanced level, in three languages
• Be willing to travel (approximately 20-40%)
• A work history demonstrating stability, increasing levels of responsibility & a direct connection to revenue growth
• Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing, MBA preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in global communications or marketing
